Online degree: types of e-learning

Electronic Learning may come in many different types within your online degree program, and will normally combine several of them:

   Just online (no meetings available)

   Mixture of online and face-to-face meetings

   Synchronous learning (videoconference, chat…)

   Asynchronous learning (emails, files, forums, blogs…)

   Online community (class) led by an instructor

   Self-study method

   Self-study method with a subject matter expert

   Fully website-based

   CD-ROM-based

   Method based on audio and video files or CD's.
